The SUstainable Material Management Extreme Events Reconnaissance (SUMMEER) research organization aims to facilitate data collection, develop reconnaissance guidance, train stakeholders, share resources, and support innovative research.

Through its activities, the ultimate aim of SUMMEER is to enable and advance sustainable management of post-disaster materials.
